I just received a great parcel of fabric from Wendy at Iddybiddy Designs - my order plus some extras! This is by far my favourite aussie online patchwork store! Great prices, very efficient and helpful, and always some extras included, especially if Wendy knows you make charity quilts.

My name is Cathy and I am part of a small group of quilters who are making quilts for the Sandra Jones Childrens Village in Zimbabwe. This home is for girls who have been repeatedly raped in their home situations. They may be as young as 3 yrs old. The village also cares for babies who have been abandoned, many of whom are HIV positive. You can read more about this wonderful ministry on their website:

HOW YOU CAN HELP

With the quilts: We always need money for polar fleece for backing these quilts, and money to post them. Each quilt costs approximately $14 for polar fleece and $16 for postage. We also need bright pretty patchwork quality cotton, so if you are a quilter with too much fabric, please get in contact.
